Plum & Mauve Wedding Style Invitation
Damask. Mauve. Elegant.
Client requested a new design for their invitations including the following formats that would be sent through the mail:
- Wedding Style Invite (8.375in × 11in)
enclosed in an envelope (6 in × 9 in)
The client was hosting a dinner event and they wanted an invitation that was elegant, fun and appealed to a specific audience: women. While he did not want to flat out mention that the event he was hosting was meant for women he wanted an invite created that would appealing. Rather than keeping to the traditional color pallets that have been stereotypically attributed to trying to get women to attend events like pinks. Instead we went with a mauve purple which has become popular with women in their 50s-60s with a nice contrasting mustard yellow. T o add to the elegant feel, added was a simple border along with a nice pop added to the corners and a beautiful damask pattern subtly overlayed in the background so it would not be distracting from the information that was being provided.
